Iron Linux · Operating system
A small, coherent Linux desktop.
Iron Linux is Debian underneath, with a Wayland desktop built from a short list of native components and an iron-and-machined-metal identity. No bundled desktop environment.

Debian, with a point of view.
The kernel, firmware, apt, dpkg, systemd and hardware support come straight from Debian's archive, unmodified. Iron adds a curated desktop and identity on top, and uses Debian's own repositories as its only APT sources — so apt and third-party .deb packages work as on any Debian machine.
Images are produced with Debian live-build from a committed configuration, so the whole build is reproducible from a clean checkout.
